Beta Platform Notice: Azure Aegis is currently in beta. Features, pricing, and policies are subject to change. By using the platform you acknowledge its early-stage status.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Azure Aegis platform, including our website at azureaegis.org, mobile experience, and all associated services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Platform. By using Azure Aegis, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Registration

To access most features, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

3. Contractor Accounts

Contractors who register on the Platform agree to:

Submit truthful and current license, insurance, and business documentation
Maintain valid licensure and insurance as required by applicable state and local law
Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing their trade
Not misrepresent their qualifications, credentials, or prior work
Obtain required background checks for field techs as required by platform policy

Azure Aegis verifies submitted documentation but does not independently guarantee the accuracy of contractor credentials. Homeowners and investors are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence.

4. Platform Use — Permitted and Prohibited

You may use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Use the Platform to facilitate illegal services or transactions
Submit false or misleading information, reviews, or ratings
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with platform security features
Scrape, copy, or harvest data from the Platform without written permission
Use the Platform to harass, threaten, or harm other users
Post spam, unsolicited advertising, or malicious content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems

5. Fees and Payments

Subscription fees are charged on a monthly basis as described in our pricing page. All fees are in U.S. dollars. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

Payments are processed through third-party payment processors. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees. Azure Aegis does not store full payment card information on its servers.

6. Refund Policy

Monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days at support@azureaegis.org. We will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

7. Aegis Points and Rewards

Aegis Points are a loyalty program feature with no cash value. Points may be redeemed for platform credits, listing boosts, subscription discounts, or other rewards as offered. Azure Aegis reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Aegis Points program at any time with notice to users. Points have no guaranteed redemption value and are not transferable.

8. Aegis Academy

Aegis Academy provides educational and professional development content. Completion certificates issued by Azure Aegis are not official certifications, licenses, or CE credits unless explicitly recognized by a relevant state licensing authority. Azure Aegis makes no representation that course content will satisfy any specific state or federal licensing or CE requirement. Users are responsible for verifying the applicability of any course content to their licensing obligations.

9. Contractor-Homeowner Relationships

Azure Aegis is a marketplace platform that facilitates connections between contractors and homeowners/investors. We are not a party to any agreement between contractors and their clients. Azure Aegis does not employ contractors, guarantee the quality of work performed, or assume liability for contractor performance or homeowner satisfaction.

Any disputes arising from jobs booked through the Platform are the responsibility of the parties involved. Azure Aegis may, at its discretion, assist in dispute resolution but is under no obligation to do so.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to logos, design, text, software, and features — is the property of Azure Aegis or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

By uploading content to the Platform (photos, documents, profile information), you grant Azure Aegis a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and store that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Azure Aegis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Azure Aegis and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ohio, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in that venue.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
